We will lay the groundwork which will help your community grow faster and more sustainably. We can also focus on how in-person events might help elevate the community experience with your business.

Technology can be a life saver or a life drainer… depending on how you integrate it. I have tested many different softwares and currently use about 15 different tools to keep things running smoothly with my community offerings. I am a certified Notion Nerd and I have a background in Computer Science. Tech is my strong suit and I can support you with some of the more technical aspects of your operations.

A solid community requires solid systems. I can help point you in the right direction in terms of what systems you will need to have in place in order to ensure you can run your business and your business won’t run you. Great community systems are where technology and people intersect.

Some of the frameworks I like to incorporate into my community building process include Cognitive Systems, Integral Theory & Spiral Dynamics. These frameworks can be helpful in guiding the growth and values of your community organization.

About Your Community Coach
Michael Oliver
I have been building community since I was in my teens. It is something that has generally come quite naturally to me and something I have been consistently gravitating towards for the past decade now.
Most of my community building efforts have been in the psychedelic space. I volunteered as President of the UBC Psychedelic Society for 4 years of my undergrad before starting my own community called The Flying Sage which has started to take flight and been my full time job ever since.
